Job Summary

Liaises, consults, and confers with concerned BSP units, and legislative liaison offices of government agencies and the private sector, on legislative matters; Conducts extensive research and prepares reports, memoranda, letters, briefing notes, and other communications, in coordination with the Legislative Liaison Research Committee (LLRC) of the BSP, on proposed legislations, implementing rules and regulations, circulars, and other issuances; Represents the OGCLS/BSP in various committees and technical working groups on proposed legislations, within or outside the BSP, whenever authorized

Qualification Standards

Education: Master's degree

Experience: 5 years of relevant experience

Training: 24 hours of relevant training/learning and development intervention

Eligibility: Career Service (Professional)/ Second Level Eligibility

Relevant Areas of Experience

With previous experience on:

• liaison and consultation with the Congress, Office of the President, Presidential Legislative Liaison Office, legislative liaison offices of other government agencies and the private sector, as well as preparation of research and reports involving legislative matters;
• legal advisory on matters involving issues on commercial law, such as but not limited to corporate, business, finance, banking, taxation and related laws.
