Job Summary
Investigates cybercrimes committed against the BSP, BSP-Supervised Financial Institutions (BSFIs), and those affecting the financial services industry in general; Conducts comprehensive cybersecurity incident investigation, including collection, examination, and forensic analysis of digital evidence of cybercrimes/cyberattacks; Facilitates collaboration on anti-cybercrime activities among concerned BSP units and other governmental bodies, including international governmental organizations and the private sector; and Provides technical support to lawyer-investigators from case buildup to prosecution of the cybercrime.
Qualification Standards
Education: Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Seven (7) years of relevant experience in threat and incident response, risk mitigation, intrusion detection and protection, cybersecurity operations and support, third-party cyber risk assessment, security compliance, project management and implementation, business systems analysis, use of cybersecurity solutions, IT infrastructure and networking, operating systems, system administration or database technology, digital forensic investigation, investigative research involving cybersecurity/anti-cybercrime laws/ policies/standards, liaison work with anti-cybercrime law enforcement agencies, or other related fieldsison work with anti-cybercrime law enforcement agencies, or other related fields
Training: 60 hours of relevant training/learning and development intervention taken within the last five years in any of the following areas: cybersecurity, application systems management, IT project management and implementation, business systems analysis, or other related fields
