Job Summary

Plans, directs, organizes, and controls the functions and activities of the department by setting the strategic direction in line with the overall goals of the BSP, overseeing the management of workflow and resources of the department, and recommending or approving appropriate actions on supervisory outputs, among others; Provides technical advisory assistance to the Managing Director/Assistant Governor and other top management officials in the implementation of laws, BSP directives, rules,regulations, and other issuances relative to matters underthe jurisdiction of the department; and engages stakeholders in pursuit of proactive supervision

Qualification Standards

Education: Master's degree or Certificate in Leadership and Management from the Civil Service Commission

Experience: 10 years of relevant experience,* 5 years of which involve supervisory/management experience

*Supervision of financial institutions, financial or operational audit, systems analysis or process design, forensic financial investigation, financial analysis, economic analysis, credit analysis and/or investigation, operations research, compliance, risk management, banking operations, law practice and legal research, fund management, quality assurance, IT operations or audit, investigative research, or related fields

Training: 120 hours of supervisory/management training/learning and development intervention
