Job Summary

Conducts and publishes research, minimum of two (2) publications per year, in line with the BSP’s research agenda; Prepares position and policy papers; Participates as presenter and discussant in research conferences; Mentors research staff

Qualification Standards

Education: Doctorate degree in:
· Economics
· Statistics
· Mathematics
· Data Science
· Finance
· Other courses involving significant quantitative analysis
Experience: 2 years of experience in any of the following:
· Research
· Economic policy review/analysis
· Quantitative analysis
· Financial markets/Banking/Finance
· Other related fields and with body of published research commensurate to the position
Training: 120 hours of relevant training/learning and development intervention
Eligibility: Career Service (Professional)/Second Level Eligibility

OR

Education: Masters degree in:
· Economics
· Statistics
· Mathematics
· Data Science
· Finance
· Other courses involving significant quantitative analysis
Experience: 5 years of experience in any of the following:
· Research
· Economic policy review/analysis
· Quantitative analysis
· Financial markets/Banking/Finance
· Other related fields and with body of published research commensurate to the position
Training: 120 hours of relevant training/learning and development intervention
Eligibility: Career Service (Professional)/Second Level Eligibility
