Job Summary
Processes moderately complex to complex or medium to high volume purchase requisitions (PRs) passed upon by the Bids and Awards Committees (BACs) in the BSP Head Office (HO) and Security Plant Complex (SPC), as well as those devolved to the PrMDs I and II; Prepares and/or reviews moderately complex to complex memoranda, letters, reports, and other communications related to procurement; Provides technical assistance and coordinates with various moderately complex to complex or medium to high volume account end-user departments (EUDs) and committees on procurement-related matters.
Qualification Standards
Education: Bachelor's degree
Experience: 4 years of experience in any of the following:
• Processing and evaluation of purchase requisitions
• Conduct of procurement activities
• Provision of secretariat services and/or technical assistance
to the Bids and Awards Committee/s
• Supply chain management
• Logistics planning
• Contract management
• Negotiation
• Data analysis
• Finance
• Accounting
• Project management, or other related fields
Training: 16 hours of relevant training/learning and development intervention
